MOBC’s Small Business Consortium (SBC) is a collection of small business currently consisting of about twenty-five (25) members. These members have various capabilities in the areas of Information Technology, Financial Management, Cyber Security, Social Media Strategy, Sharepoint, Web Development/Management, Management Consulting Solutions, Nation Building and Wealth Management; just to name a few.
The Consortium also have designated socioeconomic statuses such as; SBA 8(a), Woman Owned 8(m), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), as well as HUB-Zone and a multitude of state and local set-asides.
The Consortium’s primary mission is to provide financial assistance, teaming opportunities, partnerships and mentor/protégé engagements as well. The Consortium hosts monthly luncheons as well as industry networking events and government panel discussions and access to resources to support contracting and teaming opportunities.
